Tool Academy
I’m not particularly fond of what is commonly known as “reality TV.” I find it to be rather lowbrow and lacking in substance. It’s not a personal attack on those who enjoy it, but I much prefer more highbrow forms of entertainment, such as attending a ballet at the Royal Opera House or a recital of Keats or Shelley at Wigmore Hall. I find these experiences to be much more stimulating for the mind.
Reality TV seems disposable, like the junk food of entertainment. It’s a guilty pleasure for some, but I find it to be unsatisfying and forgettable. I have a friend who enjoys watching “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” and whenever I visit her, she’s sitting on the couch, bowl of popcorn in hand, fully engrossed in the show. When I asked her what the Kardashians are famous for, she thought for a moment and replied, “famous for being famous.” That sums it up for me.
This brings me to the woman in question. I was previously informed that she was a participant on a reality TV show. My curiosity was piqued, so I asked what kind of reality TV she was associated with. I hoped it might be a show like The X-Factor or Strictly Come Dancing. I thought to myself, maybe she can sing, and I started to get excited at the thought of her performing “I Will Always Love You” while I have Marc Rose give her a sensual massage. Or perhaps she can dance? I started to sweat at the thought of her doing the conga while massaging the cum from Marc’s testicles. I was promptly informed that she was on Tool Academy.
I admit that I don’t stay current with everything on television today, but I try to keep up with popular culture to avoid appearing out of touch with the young women I photograph daily. I make an effort to distinguish Boyzone from Backstreet Boys, for example. So when I encountered the term “Tool Academy,” I was confused and imagined it as a school for learning ancient sword-fighting techniques, akin to Marc Rose or Jack Mason. After consulting Wikipedia, I discovered that it is actually a reality TV show where girlfriends enroll their boyfriends in a relationship boot camp without their knowledge. The goal of the boot camp is to improve the men’s relationship skills, and the winning couple receives a cash prize of £25000 and the chance to strengthen their relationship.
After reading this, I was left feeling quite stunned. I encountered a woman who had covertly enrolled her boyfriend in a relationship enhancement program, with the hope that he would become more amorous towards her. Simultaneously, she was preparing to engage in an intimate act with both Mark and Peter. From this, it seems that her relationship was facing challenges. To my surprise, she mentioned that she and her boyfriend were still together, but he was unaware of her involvement in the adult film industry. She asked me to keep her secret, expressing that she didn’t want him to discover her on-camera encounters with other men.
Of course, I will respect her confidence.
Now, allow me to introduce you to the talented actress from Tool Academy, the one and only Brooklyn Blue. Although I wish she could serenade us with her rendition of “I Will Always Love You,” I appreciate her for who she is and the entertainment she brings to her audience.
